1) Have you dog stand up. Measurements taken when your dog is sitting or lying down may not be accurate.

2) Measure your dog from the base of his/her neck tot he base of his/her tail. This is the length.

3) Measure from the center of the should blades going clockwise ( or counter clockwise ) around the dog, right behind his/her elbows. This is the girth.

4) Measure the length of your dog's legs fromn right behind the elbow, down to thier Knee.
